Set up your space
Choose somewhere quiet and private, with enough light for the clinician to see you. Make sure you feel comfortable discussing personal information there.
Check your device
Use a phone, tablet or computer that supports video calls. Check your internet connection, camera and microphone before the appointment and keep your device charged.
Bring your questions
Write a short list of what you want to discuss. Keep a pen and paper nearby if you would like to note the advice or questions that arise during the conversation.
Read your appointment instructions
Use the joining information for your actual appointment. The example phone on this website is a product tour, so you cannot join a consultation from it. For account or access help, contact Prima.
Know the limits of a remote appointment
A video appointment may not be suitable for every concern. Follow the clinician’s advice about any examination or care needed in person. Do not wait for a routine appointment in an emergency.
